The Co-op at Pacific Resident Theatre Presents

Directed by Sarah Knight

An adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s “An Ideal Husband.” Here the genders are reversed and the setting updated to glamorous 1946 Washington D.C.The story is about an upright Congresswoman (inspired by the legendary Clare Boothe-Luce) who is forced to confront a past indiscretion.

Wilde’s bons mots are in top form in this sparkling comedy, which turns sexual stereotyping on its ear!
