Emily is an esteemed poet and former academic who has become something of a recluse at her New England farm. Enter Gus, the young and willing itinerant handyman. Their unlikely friendship develops, and the consequences become clear when Gus’ father arrives to reclaim the son who’s been missing. These three people, thrown together by mere chance, expose the human heart at its most vulnerable.
