As an actor, Michael appeared most recently in INFORMED CONSENT in the Co-Op, directed by Peter Levin. He starred opposite Shiva Rose in MY ANTONIA at the Rubicon, directed by Scott Schwartz, music by Stephen Schwartz. He played Jimmy Reeves in the West Coast Premiere of Daisy Foote’s WHEN THEY SPEAK OF RITA, for which he received the 2005 Ovation Award Nomination for Best Featured Actor.

He has been seen in DEAR WORLD, THE DEATH OF VICTOR HARTMANN (with performers from the Metropolitan Opera), THE DOCTOR IN SPITE OF HIMSELF, THE SOLDIER’S TALE, THE CHILDREN’S HOUR, GREAT EXPECTATIONS, TWELVE ANGRY MEN, and the independent feature film MILES.

As a composer, he has written music for concerts and stage productions, including DEATH OF A SALESMAN at PRT, and is currently scoring the film MILES. As a concert pianist and accompanist, he has played for HAPPY END at PRT, and for musical theatre, opera, recitals and special events in Los Angeles, New England and New York.

As a director, he has collaborated on numerous theatre productions in New England and New York, and is currently in pre-production for the short film BLOOM. As a lighting designer, he has lighted TURN OF THE SCREW, DEATH OF A SALESMAN, RICHARD II, and SOURCES SAY at PRT. He is a graduate of Amherst College in Massachusetts, where he studied biology and music.
